Meet Summer (Aka Me)
About Me
Hi! I'm Summer. I'm a Florida Native that chased a lifetime goal... to end up as a Marine Biologist. After several years rehabilitating sea turtles, a trip to Belize, and researching micro plastics I ended up working with corals. I worked actively in the field for several years before finding my true calling, science communication. I now proudly work to educate and share my passion for the ocean everywhere I go.
My Mission
The longer I worked in the field of marine science, the more I became aware of a growing disconnect between science and the people it impacts most. With a natural people person mindset and a deep appreciation for thoughtful design, I set out to change that.
Along the way, I had the privilege of working with students from around the world—a transformative experience that sparked an unexpected passion for mentorship and advising. I discovered how much I love helping others uncover their potential and take tangible steps toward their dreams.
At the heart of my work is a clear mission: to bridge the gap between people and science making it more accessible, engaging, and lighthearted.
